Methodology
How this site produces and distinguishes its content.
What this site publishes
This site is not a news outlet: nothing is published here first. It catalogues work that appeared elsewhere and gives it context. Two sets:
- Publications — a portfolio of pieces published in other outlets. Every detail page carries a canonical link to the source and is not indexed: the audience belongs to the host publisher, not to this site.
- Research — academic work and expert papers, presented by status (published, accepted, forthcoming), never conflated.
Three statuses, never mixed
Within publications, an op-ed is a piece written and signed by Romain Blachier. An interview is an exchange reported by a journalist. A quote is a third-party article in which he is cited. All three are labelled on every entry: a quote is never presented as a byline.
What is not published here
Articles under peer review are not listed while review is under way: in a double-blind process, announcing them publicly would compromise anonymity. Assignment deliverables handed to a client remain confidential; only their nature is described.
Sources
The work relies on primary sources (regulation, institutional reports, sector data, interviews) that are cited and verifiable.
Corrections
Any reported error is corrected transparently. See the Corrections page.
