Energy and geopolitical questions are best approached from several angles at once. That's what I have tried to do over the years, holding simultaneously roles that are usually exercised separately.
My perspective on these questions draws on three complementary sources. Operational experience first: eighteen years in renewable energy, at the heart of a major French electricity operator, and twelve years as an elected official in the Lyon Metropolitan area, with executive responsibilities covering culture, digital affairs and international relations — exercised with full accountability.
Writing next, which has become a daily discipline over time. I collaborate with French and international think tanks, and I publish regularly in the French and foreign press on energy, geopolitics and public affairs.
Teaching finally, which has structured my year for fifteen years. I lecture at Sciences Po Paris, Grenoble École de Management, Université Lyon 1, and at several other leading French institutions, on energy markets, geopolitics, public affairs and crisis communications — in French and English.
Added to this are field engagements far from Lyon — in Cambodia and Ukraine — because understanding a world requires having walked through it.
