Who really decides in energy governance, with what means, and how that asymmetry is legitimised.
My research object is the gap between formally attributed authority and the actual capacity to act in energy governance: who really decides, with what means, and how that asymmetry is legitimised. The thread runs from the metropolis to the international stage, from grid concessions to regional interconnections, and cuts across my academic articles, think tank notes and journalistic work.

HEIP lecture series
Series of lectures on energy geopolitics at HEIP (Hautes Études Internationales et Politiques), alongside regular teaching. Regular interventions before students on current topics: energy crises, electrical sovereignty, transitions in Asia and Africa.
Université Ouverte de la Duchère
Monthly public lecture series I founded within the Lyon La Duchère football club, in partnership with Ciné Duchère. The concept: each month, a guest — academic, artist, intellectual — addresses residents of the working-class Duchère neighbourhood in Lyon, followed by a discussion and a film screening.
Inaugurated in November 2022 with mathematician Cédric Villani. Past guests include Catou Faust (EM Lyon Business School). The series combines academic rigour with grassroots engagement, as an exercise in democratising knowledge.

Fieldwork
- Cameroon (July 2026): power sector reform, institutional interviews in Yaoundé (PRSEC, rural electrification agency, AFD).
- Taiwan (2019, 2025): two missions at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; academic, diplomatic and industry interviews.
- Cambodia (2017-2022): energy policy and regional cooperation in Southeast Asia.
